| Have signed up for Cat & Fid on 3rd October 2010 ? May try hill climb but my 90kg will take a bit of pushing up that hill. I may use my wifes 650mm wheel bike ???? The Carbon frame and smaller wheels may help ? Last year it was on a Sunday so why is on Saturday this year ? |

| are you doing the hillclimb on october 02nd gary ? now that sean sleigh and dan partinton have joined our club there will be some stiff competition besides rich k who is hard to match when he,s on form. its interesting to see how the times compare at the end of the day. the sunday after is the cat and fiddle from stoke which a few of us are doing, its 55 miles so not too mammoth a task, your welcome to join us if you,ve got the time. we did about 60 miles this sunday on the clubrun, |

| Quote from Jack H on Aug 2nd, 2010, 8:21pm: Gary,TT bike will make a big difference to your cycling time, thats for sure. Tried my TT bike out seems to give me a 2-3 mph average speed increase over an hour with old wheels hopefully my new aero wheels will add another 1 mph (mavic carbone SL - Zipp to expensive !) |

Thats just not fare so you get 8 mins head start, so I will have to catch you on the cycle then .... he he .... never mind they must have put me with the better swimmers then may be it may help me to pull back another minute before cycle ? ... Any way last time I beat you according to the offical times at Lichfield. Previous Barton I got a puncture and lost over 10 mins repairing it so that wasnt fare... wired tires can be such a pain sometimes ! Hope my new wheels give me better luck? |
